Prevention Unit and Family Services
Our Prevention Unit helps families avoid child care and CFS involvement, aiming for family stability, while our Family Services support elderly community members.
1. Helps to reduce CFS involvement with families by delivering programs and services that enhance parenting skills, support reunification and promote decolonization & sobriety.
2. Provides advocacy to families through First Nation Representative services so that families and children understand their rights when involved with CFS.
3. Leads CFS Family Law development and works towards taking full control of CFS in the future.
